How to port a skin from 1.8 to 1.7?
I want to use this but most of the skins I want to use, are mostly just 1.8 skins.
Most of the methods I've tried just don't seem to work as intended anymore or just don't exist.

I just want to know if there's a way to make a 1.8 skin into a 1.7 one.

a bit late, but all you need to do is open the 1.8 skin file in an image editor, and change the resolution to 64x32, so the bottom of the image has the torso and the top of the image has the head. the extra arm and leg are not needed
