problem in association with wg realistic pop mod
the checkbox "use wg realistic pop" does not work. the building keeps the amount of workers the realistic pop mod generates though the box is unchecked

This may be why all the buildings I've used RICO local settings on to create 170 to 459 households instead of 80 and below (as their defaults suggest) seem to never get over 80, and in most cases don't get past 20 households (since Green Cities updates came out .... and even after the initial Green update by the RICO modders). Maybe they are just not recognizing that I've raised the household numbers even though RICO looks like it's accepted it?

I'm having a similar issue. Buildings that already had 701 households (Workshop asset, for example) now only has 1 household when I place the asset. The existing assets still have 701 households. When I attempt to change the settings and then restart the game, the number of people stays the same, doesn't change at all.

The Ploppable RICO mod "settings" screen says "use realistic pop," and has a check-box next to that (which I never check). I don't have a mode called WG Realistic Pop Mod, but maybe it's incorporated into the Ploppable RICO mod that I do use? Anyway - I'm having the problem of only 10% of my ploppable RICO-set households filling up on my RICO buildings. Hope that is what OmmaHead was talking about. And I'm patiently waiting for either the developers of the RICO mod, or the developers/distributors of the game itself, to fix this problem because it's really messing up my city. OH!! I should note that I did discover that the RESIDENTIAL BUILDING 01 gets a full 75% and more of it's households, while the Dorilton and the Admiral1 buildings get 10% .... so maybe it's the building modders needing to redo their buildings to fit the codes set on the new DLC's??? I'm guessing - don't know.

I am also having the problem with all RICO buildings having only a single household. I also do have WG Realistic Population installed.

When you only get 1 household for buildings that should have more, what category do you find them in? Are they in low density residential or high density residential?

It only happens with high density residential. Low density residential is supposed to only have 1 household with Realistic Population, and there are no bugs affecting offices, industry or commercial.

Hi Avanya :^)
My buildings are showing 2/7 and 3/5 and 1/2 (like that) for household residency. The buildings are all level 1.
PS: Thanks for asking.
:^)

Oops - forgot to say I don't have Realistic Pop Mod and also in the RICO local settings I leave that box empty.

with the realistic pop mod and RICO installed, most of the RICO buildings provide insane amount of job positions up to a thousand, and I cannot even change the value. I tried 'add local', change 'worker/home count', it works before, and now after the update, it is no longer effective. Can you please fix this?

Same here. One office in my city had 1100 jobs available. There weren't even 1100 people in the city at the time.

I've had the same problem for a long time now with no solution. So I finally just removed all my RICO assets and unsubbed from RICO. A shame as I really loved the mod and all the beautiful buildings, but they were ruining my game, so I'll just play without it for now.

There's a fixed version of RICO out somewhere on the workshop. Use that version instead, it provides compatibility.

I read through your comments and couldn't find a solution for a while until I stumbled across this. This may be a hassle but it fixed my problems, especially the one with the unrealistic and game breaking worker requirements.

Manually edit the "LocalRICOSettings.xml" file (found at "[~Steam_install_path~]\steamapps\common\Cities_Skylines"), adding the XML attribute [ignore-reality="true"] to the definition for the asset. For example, change --
<Building name="Garages_Data" service="office" density="0" sub-service="none" construction-cost="500" ui-category="office" homes="0" steam-id="" level="3" workplaces="20,70,70,30" />
to --
