The Sub-Buildings Enabler mod is deprecated, since After Dark apparently made it redundant. Do I still need to use that mod in order to plop others' Ploppable RICO-enabled large custom buildings with this mod, or is it only necessary if I am making large custom buildings myself?

Couldn't find an answer but don't know how to search comments and didn't want to skim 158 pages, so I'm asking here where the title will be visible for others wondering the same.
