How I made this an entity
So I thought I'd make a thread showing what Im doing with the model and how im doing it and this is just for those who are interested. This was after the model was imported as a prop.

So lets start. First I needed to add the landing gear and although it wont be animated just yet, I hope to add this feature in the future. Here's a screenshot of the landing gear in my editor : https://gyazo.com/d1b7ca0bb54e886fb1c389aa0c98cf9e

Im trying to make it so it balances well ingame and trying to stick as close as possible to the original model

After the OBJ exports for the landing gear are ready to be converted into a special format, Im converting the textures into useable formats that the game understands : http://i.imgsafe.org/7313b41.jpg

So now im converting the models into a format that will be complied into the gmod default model file which is MDL : http://i.imgsafe.org/f6078b5.png but first im assigning the materials to the models + exporting its collision model

The material error is fine, I was just testing the models size proportions and so on but for now I can add this to my addon and start coding the rest.

Now all i have to do is sort out the position of the legs form the code I put in eailer and a few other bits and bobs

After realising I'm a idiot, it would have been easier to use the landing gear and the body as one mesh, and so Im having to recompile everything, fun!
