Other possible attachments?
So, I have some thoughts on the attachments and the weapons they're available on. So I created a list of what I'd personally like to see:
Foregrip: Thompson, BAR, Bren MKI
Rifle Grenade: M1 Garand, Kar98k, Lee Enfield, M1 Carbine
Muzzle Breaks/Compensators: M1 Garand, M3 Grease Gun, Thompson, BAR, STG44, FG42, MG42, Browning M1919A6
Suppressor: Sten MKII, M3 Grease Gun, M1 Carbine, MP40
Extended Magazine: MP40, BAR, Thompson, M1 Carbine, MG42, MG34, M1919A6
Low Power Scopes: G43, M1 Garand, Kar98k, M1 Carbine, FG42, STG 44
Bipod: BAR, Bren MKI, Browning M1919A6, MG34, MG42, FG42

I know many of these attachments weren't around during the era, but many of them were actually present during the era. I know some gun models need to be changed, but, it does offer different ways to play the game.

I disagree with adding more magnified optics, the reason a lot of gamers enjoy the WW2 and lower eras is because the lack of optics. It means people have to practice and become proficient with irons which can discourage entire team snipe-offs which vanilla Insurgency is highly prone to.

I completely agree with rifle grenades and I hope we see those come in.

No need to aplologize... some of the ideas were rather interesting

I feel that bringing in more field modified attachments would bring a more authentic approach to the game. Believe it or not, there's a lot of photos of GIs and Marines with a BAR and foregrip.

Even though those optics existed in the era, no ARMY put them into USE. I don't know why you would want surpressors to be added to RIFLES, no actual soldiers in world war two used those low powered scopes, supressors and different kinds of barrels.... People like world war two because the guns are almost completely vanilla and lets please keep it that way, don't turn this into ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ call of duty world at war..

I do understand the simplicity WW2 shooter offer, but every attachment I looked up was made during the era and some WERE used in the war. Many barrel modifiers actually came attached to the gun. IE: The Cutts Compensator on the Thompson/BAR and the flash hiders on the Bren MKI and MG42.

However, some of these should be field modified. But, I mention these attachments for one thing, and I hope I'm not spoiling this for people. But on their Trello account, there is a render for the Welrod bolt action suppressed pistol. When I saw that weapon, it got me thinking about the OSS and SOE missions behind enemy lines, and the utilization of different weapons attachments.

There were low powered zoom scopes used in the war and many used by the Army. Mind you, high powered scopes were not that common in the era. Sniper scopes usually averaged 2.5-3x magnification.

PS. All of the suppressed weapons I mentioned were SMGs, except the M1 Carbine, and I did find a photo of an 1944 M1 Carbine with a suppressor and M72 scope made for the OSS, same thing for the Grease Gun and Sten (by far the most common). The only uncertain one was the MP40, and I merely added it in when balancing the weapons.
