I like to say great job to the Devs adding in a ww2 game.

Btw community mod I installed a better iron sight mod for the carbin for normal insugency its works in Day of Infamy

First the main guns MG42, Thompson, M1919 Browning Machine gun, etc
look out of place with texture from the game, and the gun model is just sometimes to big and doesn't look realistic enough.
The iron sight on the m1 garand the back iron sight is way to big in my opinion, look at rising storm their Iron sight is perfect for the m1 garand. Red orchestra 2 iron sight for the k98k is perfect too, not to small not to big, while the one in Day of Infamy is small (my opinion).
The pistols look alright in the game.
I hope you guys are planning fix some of the textures in game that look out of place like the trenches wood above the hill in D-Day, or the grass textures.

Maybe clear some of the sky in D-Day and make boats that drive on to the beach [Has been added, but boats do not respawn with people in them.] , and maybe add machine gunners on top of boats. Yes, it would be OP to the axis side but make the cost of smoke cheaper for allies and give them more waves.

This is just a suggestion doesn't have to be in the game.

Give the officers some binoculars and make a artillery available to them.

We could add in a tank crew with people in them and a special kit that a limit of players have to explode some of the obstacles in the way.

We also could add in one of those long sticks (forgot what they were called) to blow up tiny hills on the beach, again for limited players not everyone.

And last, whenever setting up the mg42 or m1919 or any other future gun with a bipod, add in a courch but like in red orchestra 2 when you press the crouch button you take cover while still having your machine gun setup, red orchestra 2 players you know what I mean.

This is a very good mod idea. The devs could make more maps with different team models like some maps could be the Imperial army vs the Marine raiders (america) or The Russians vs the Germans. Each faction for say like the russians get the mosin, svt. possibly a ppsh, and some other russian gun. If you google some weapons from each army during ww2 you could probably fill each slot. This is just my 2 cents if you want some more ideas add me i will be glad to help get some of my other friends to help. Maybe possibly i could help map but i have never mapped before.

Not a bad idea maybe add some bunkers some sand bags etc and some appartment rooms

I think when they are going to clear the sky in D day allies should have more sniper slots and axis have half the sniper slots allies do.

- More medium maps (there is a lot of campers on big maps and it's not quite fun).
- A little bit more of fast gameplay (for reload, when you use the ironsight, there is a time before the weapon is able to fire correctly and more).
- For the future (think about competitive scene).
- Areas of bullet penetration.
- Lower the bolt time on the 98k.
- Sprintstrafing.
- System of respawn like dod1.3 and dods. To not have the system of waiting at the end of the game, to appear only if the team taking another point. Capture the points and that's all, simply like that. We want to play !
- More recoil on the MG.

Lets be honest this WW2 game isn't normal insurgency where you camp the point, this is a one hitta quita game, the game modes for ww2 make the people camp often. To reduce campers is difficult.

It's a bit difficult, yes, so maybe to revise the gameplay or the damage system. First of all, about the map, I think that urbain maps will have less of campers than bastogne for exemple.
Probably the best way to improve the game is to take a closer look at the map. You see, the dirt trenches are total ♥♥♥♥ on D-Day. In some areas your head is sticking out while standing and you can get sniped from halfway across the map, the bunker area for B is also a bit too fortified and, to be honest here, the C point is harder to cap than the A point on invasion. Devs pls fix this map D:

Another thing about maps, Bastonge appears to rely on people going prone alot due to the shallow ditches. Prone in insurgency is absolute ♥♥♥♥ so please raise some of these ditch sides as it's frustrating to get pushed half a milimeter and cancel your reload or bolt which gets you killed easily.

For guns please decrease the damage of the pistols, they kill in two shots and fire faster than an MP40.
Also, the sniper class is the most important class because of the poorish map design so please either allow more of them (2 more) or just tweak some of the maps.

Well the underground bunkers in B did exist in D-Day (visited it myself). But the bunkers are just so out of place why would you add two entrances on the left and right, and a mg spot on the thats aiming at the germans instead of the beach. I suggest clearing the sky in D-Day, and adding more tickets for the allies just making players spawn into a boat and people can get on to a MG on top and shoot while someone (or a bot) drives it to the beach (which would be really cool). Both maps have a difficult time for allies trying to cap A. This is supposed to be a one hita quita game so I think its alright the pistol and mp40 do that much damage.

Camping in the game is interesting when it's did inteligently. But currently there is too much of camping, a lot of players are prone all time. I think it's sometime difficult to kill an ennemy when he's lying because the weapon take a few time before to have a clear visibility and shoot fast.

I added two more points :

- More recoil on the MG.
