Rust
Combat Medic Shirt

This is going to confuse new players
I hope Facepunch don't add this, and I'm not bashing your work this looks great. But I don't think it should have kevlar which may confuse some people into thinking it's stronger than a normal shirt.

Also in game. It may appear like someone has armor when they really don't

+1

True. X-Tab makes some really cool stuff, but this you're right that this could be an issue from a gameplay standpoint. (Though if they add kevlar again, it should totally look like this because this actually is a pretty sick skin.)

o... o no...... dey Confus.... O fug........
New players are going to make mistakes with a lot of things, not just this. It says that all of these items are the same except for skin, have no different stats, and are rewarded based on play time.

so what you're saying is that everyone should know that this is a cosmetic and this should add to the list that new players are going to get confused with.

Those are some great points.

It should be better than a norm shirt if it has kevlar infused in it

It's only an issue if:
1. They don't understand cosmetics, yet bought this item
2. They don't know how to read
3. They don't understand that this is a retexture of Burlap Shirt, despite clicking 'change skin' and selecting this.

Who the ♥♥♥♥ plays a game like Rust, buys cosmetics, and then doesn't understand cosmetics? Who are you trying to protect here? Little kids? 5 year old little kids? This is not an issue in the slightest.

What about the christmas sweater long sleeved shirt skin? Does that make you warmer because it's a sweater? Or the bloodied bandages leather gloves skin, is that related to bandage use? Or is the wooden bucket skin of Bucket Helmet weaker because it's made of wood and not metal? What about Wolf Headdress making wolves fight alongside you, or camo clothing causing animals to have a harder time finding you? How about First Aid and Ammo large wooden boxes only able to contain their specific theme of items? My past examples sound ridiculous, because no sane person would ever make those misconceptions. Just like no sane person would think that a cosmetic that is advertised entirely as COSMETIC ONLY would have any bonuses.

It's more of the fact that a newer player might see someone with this shirt on and think that they have stronger armour than they really do.

Newer players make mistakes, like thinking they can kill a bear with a spear or trusting a naked with malicious intent. Can you please elaborate how this matters, if it's only a mistake being made by newer players who don't know about this particular cosmetic item?

Because it can easily be avoided and cosmetics shirts shouldn't look like armour.

If you're really that worried about a minor issue, fine. I'll go away.

Just make it without the kevlar and if you have some high quality make an armoured chest plate and boom, your original
