Teleporter rings.... Fail..
On The Island map.
I placed 2 teleporters and named them with the same name. I placed one on top of the other, thus replacing my elevaor system. Boy was I excited. No more generator, no more gas.

I hopped on the ring and teleported..... to the same exact spot.. Doesn't matter if I use the one on the bottom or the one on top. I just get "teleported" to the ring that I am on.

Its been a bit since i was on a server with this mod, but i did have an issue like this at one base.

I think the linked rings were in same spot, and were transporting me 4 walls higher. If I remember correctly, if i moved or dismounted during aniamtion, it would transport me correctly. The server wiped not long after I started having the issue, so I didnt get to try other solutions.

Maybe move the location of one of the rings a few tiles horizontally and see if that makes a difference?

they seem to not be able to transport vertically on top of eath other. thats it.

this seems like a recent issue because I just started having this problem as well. Before I could have them directly on top eachother with no problem. It seems to only happen when you have them *To Close Together*. If I add more distance it seems to fix it.

seems to only be new rings that are made after the update. all old placed rings still work fine.

there is also another bug, that if you stand still at around 3-4 walls distance directly below a transporter (that is placed on a roof or something), it will teleport you 3-10 walls high straight into the air. just walk under the teleporter and wait, dont move. it always teleports you to the same spot, with enough precision to use it as legit movement-teleporter... we used it to teleport ourselves atop of our tower without the enemy being able to see any kind of latter/ramp support or teleporter rings... kind of cheaty

I am having the same problem. I added the mod to my Scorched Earth today. I have used it before, but I moved my server a month or so ago and didn't install the mod again untill today. In my base, the botton and top teleportes are 4 walls high appart. Nothing hapens if I move onto it. I can see the animation of both rings, but I stay on the ring I started on. Moving the rings 8 walls high appart also does not work.

Throwing a Jerboa on the ring gets it transported to the top and bottom. Moving around while the teleport animation is in action does not help. Landing with an Argie on a teleporter works, you get teleported where you need to be if mounted.

I have a weird issue where i move a ring because of expansion or I just do not like the location and rename the ring back to what it was. Get on and it teleports me to a rin across the base that it is not even linked to. Go back, pick it up again and then pick the one i want it to be paired to and place them again. MAYBE it works, maybe not. After two times this last time, it works.

We have also been having some weird failures with the star gates just teleporting out to the middle of the water. No idea why that happens and it seems to be that certain gates get bugged. We tear that gate down, place a new one and the problem goes away. Many times these gates were in place for quite a while, then just get crazy.
