ya this is an odd issue. as well as only effects new rings. the old ones that are still placed are fine.

Need more infos, public/private ? locked ? how much lateral distance (in foundations).

none the servers i have been on have it working for the newly crafted rings. (old rings that are placed b4 the update still work as before) if its on foundation or floor no change. Even tried single player as well got nothing. no matter how far we move it it will not work unless u are on a dinos saddle. In the pas we could also put them vertical above one another from a few floors away & now we have to move them off center a few floors. kinda ruins a building Symmetry.

Yeah, I'm having a similar issue as explained by the OP. Here is he info I have...

Ring Information
Distance: 5 foundations apart from each other, placed horizontally. Have tried same distance vertically as well.
Locked? : Tried locked and unlocked, no difference.
Work Arounds? : I've tried a lot of things and found a few work arounds. Much like the OP, riding any dino will allow you to use the correctly. I've tried with various creatures, no problem. The curious on I saw is if I time a jump right before I would teleport, I will. So an observation, it might be due to something on the players height? With the jumping and riding a dino I think it's a likely culpret.

If I can help running this down let me know.

I use a trigger sphere, if u fill the required conditions, u will trigger the teleport function, if it only works on dinos, it looks like it doesnt see you as player. You should try naked and without dinos on ur arm if it was the case :s

Ok, did as you said.

Tried taking off all armor, made sure no dinos were attached. Tried. Tried going through the rings, on different sides and in different areas. One time I was able to jump to the other ring, but that was out of 30 or so tries.

Tried with armor as well. No successes, at least 10 or 15 tries.

Tried with a dino on my shoulder as well...for the hell of it. No change.

I have sort of the same issue, the gates work awesome.

The rings will work once but then just stop working. It looks like its teleporting me to the same ring.
I have them about 4 walls height difference.

I had the same issue. Using Extinction Core as first mod.

For now, the way I "fixed" it was to separate the rings a bit more horizontally. Originally I had one ring outside at the base of my building, and another inside on the third floor maybe two or so foundations away. I could ride an argent up the teleport, but by myself I wouldn't go anywhere.

When I moved the bottom ring further away from the building, I could teleport back/forth no problem.

Unfortunately I'm dealing with a new issue, where my tribesmate sometimes gets teleported to the roof of our base when he uses the teleporter rings.

Is there a minimum distance the rings need to be apart? I have 2 rings, 3 wall height apart (1 on the floor and 1 on the ceiling above) and they wont work. If I move the upper ring horizontally further away, it works everytime.
