Can dinos follow you through the gate?

Is it possible for dinos to follow you through the gate?

I've only been able to take dinos through that i'm riding, all others with the "follow me" order just sit next to the gate when I travel through.

Order dinos to follow after dialing gate and run to back side of it quickly and be behind gate kind of in middle. Dinos will go towards you and get teleported, then you quickly run to front side of gate and follow them.
