first i have to say your mod is great! funktions, style, animations are really impressive

i noticed, the remote controller (RC) has a frequency option. is it possible to sync this with the shield, adding an option for the stargate to set a frequency when the shield is up and running?

"EnablePersonalStargateShieldFrequency=true/false"

Ringmenu option "Set Shield Frequency"

for example:
my stargates shield frequency is set to 50
if i connect from somewhere else and set the frequency of my RC to 50, i can easily go through and nothing happens
but if i set my RCs frequency to anything but 50, my RC and shield are not in sync and i will die at the moment i go through.

in terms of balance the shield should constantly drain the ZPM as long as its activated.
1% durability loss per outgoing stargate activation (=100 activations) + 0,333333% durability loss per minute if shield is activated (ZPM lasts ~300min with activated shield and no outgoing connections)

Also you could handle the ZPM like gasoline and make it stackable but to avoid the "oh i activated my Gate and it used a whole ZPM for only one connection" problem like the fabrcator/generator does if you turn it on and off (by accident :) ), there should be an exrta activation sequenz in the ringmenu ( and some glowing blue lines at the outer ring or something like that as a optical indicator for you to see that the gate has power)
in this case the ZPM counts as normal fuel and one ZPM lasts maybe 300 minutes independant of how often you teleport but when the shield is active it needs more power so that one ZPM last about 195 instead of 300 min.

for personal taste an entry in GameUserSettings like

[Stargate]
...
EnableStargateShieldFrequency=true/false

EnableStargateFuelConsumption=true/false

StargateActivationFuelDrainMultiplier=1.00
(=1% durability loss/activation or 1ZPM/300Min)

StragateShieldFuelDrainMultiplier=1.00
(=0.333333% durability loss/min or 1ZPM~300min*0.65=195min )

lower value decreses, higher value increases durability loss of the ZPM

with this everyone could set the energyconsumption and frequency option of the stargate to his personal likes

and everyone has to gather recources to keep the network up and running and keep the protective shield up because a Sargate without power can be opened from the other side via "subspace energytransfer"
no power=no shield=successfully owned

would be awesome if that could be possible

... and i like to see an: EnableBiDirectional=true/false option.
(walk throught the gates in both directions without placing a new call.)

or much better to set each Stargate bidirectional in the wheel-menu.

Are you Asian? Yay, more mindless farming. The Gate Network is self sustainable... it already works for a few million years.
btw that it can be damaged is already to much... it needs at least a MkIII Tactical Nukclear Warhead to even scratch it by canon.

- And by canon a Stargate don't even need a ZPM to dial/connect. the DHD operates it with a power device that has not even 0,00001% that output of a ZPM. So expect 1 ZPM to power one Gate with this little Iris Shield 24/7 round about 30.000 years or longer.

- Stargate connections are a one way connetion whormhole. guess... right: canon

Seriously... please watch the show before asking for changes which all are 100% contrary to canon.

nope, giving in into those sugestions would completely ruin this mod. because... i would not be Stargate anymore.

a sugestion for those sugestions would be: make a different mod (but dont call it Stargate)
