No Private Gates?
Is there a way to make a gate tribe use only - or maybe an iris to block unauthorized traffic?

Definitely would like a way to make the gate locked so it would be unusable by anyone outside a tribe. Wouldnt want someone to shoot a giga and kite it through the gate to someones base :)

Nah, the gates should come with a risk. Anyway, they gotta know your code. Speaking of which? Anyone have an unauthorized invasion?

Any door in the game has a lock feature or pin code feature so its something that I would definitely like to see. Right now using the "hidden" command via the ini file works.

Solution: Place it in a room.
At most they just come there then leave as they can't do anything.

Almost. Build a pit, like a taming box, and place it right at the edge of it so people coming through unannounced fall into it. Oh and put metal spikes at the bottom, unlike a taming box. Announced visitors get a thatch bridge built to land on. If you like them.
