All Stargates are failing to activate! Single Player, Central Island Mod, Unofficial server
Stargates failure..connect:fail, no ZPM, at all 5 gates!
Hello all..firstly I love this mod..the realism and convenience factors are outstanding.
Having said that I have 5 Stargates on the Central Island Mod. All has been working fine for about 1 week then I fell through the world when walking up real world steps into an ocean (first thought was to log out and see if it would place me back on land..but no, same place in the water). I then took the long trek swimming to shore and it worked.
However when attempting gate travel at any gate it fails with the above error! I then proceeded to destroy all 5 gates and put in new ZPM's and even renamed all gates..still not working.
I proceeded to unsubscribe from the mod, reloaded game then exit and re-subscribe to mod and then renamed and rebuilt all gates..just more of the same.
Any ideas here would be seriously appreciated as I'm all tapped out!

Update: Started a new map Valhalla, on a custom ARK server. Stargate Atlantis as 1st. place Mod. Built two stargates using 21 stone foundations, used normal startup placed ZPM in gate, went to console and named gate, then pushed the connect button on wheel. Then saw that my other gate showed up in list to the right and clicked on it. Gate did not light up for anything and reported the same problem connect:fail, no ZPM ? I'm at a loss here can anyone please help to try and resolve this problem. I'm not a casual player my time logged in ARK 1,016 hours.

I am having similar issue. We are using the Valhalla map with the Stairgate Atlantis on a dedicated server. When we place the stairgates the other gates show up in the available slot it dials the number but will not connect. The rings do work.

I can vouch same issue on my Valhalla dedicated server. I tried removing the gates and redoing them. Same thing. I tried earlier today to remove the mod, delete the folder on the server and re-add the mod and restart server. I have not logged in yet but I will in about an hour (ran errands and having a coffee :>).

Ok. so I did what I said above and it worked. I of course now need to go to all the public locations and place gates. I don't have anyone using private ones so cannot say anything for that.

Thanks to all who have posted, I resolved my problems totally using the code for public gates. I knew all was well when I tried to dial up from history (even the failed gates) and it lit up and self connected. I could'nt be happier. All I needed now was to replace all my gates to public on 3 servers. Only about 11/2 hrs. or so. It was easy because you can travel to all non working gates simply by installing the public and then take off for the next gate change! Take care all and cudos to the developers for this awesome mod.

Also worth noting that in a recent update Oxxy fixed the ZPM requirement for Private gates. Putting the ZPM in the normal gate inventory was not suposed to work to begin with, you must place the ZPM in the apropriate "trophy" slot at the far right of the gates inventory for them to work proper.

Edit: ZPM must go in the gates inventory first and then it can be moved over into the trophy slot.
