Combine Proto Prison Guard
Addon conflicts: texture overlapping / overriding
Hi there,

I've noticed that if this player model is used in conjunction with either one of the following addons, display issues will occur with respect to texture overriding of similar "MW2 riot soldier" player models. (Please note that this also occurs with the workshop addon from which the CPPG model originally came from....)

The "Omon" (a black and blue variant of the MW2 Russian type) and FSB variants are unaffected by this addon's inclusion.

Allow me to demonstrate:

CPPG [ENABLED]:

(1) CPPG completely overrides Russian riot soldier.

(2) American riot soldier becomes frightning (!); confers skin, eye, and mouth scarf textures from CPPG.

CPPG [DISABLED]:

CPPG [ENABLED]:

(1) Russian riot soldier (almost) completely overrides CPPG.

(2) The faces of both the American and Russian riot soldier turn pale.

Is there any way that this compatibility issue could be circumvented? This rendition of the riot soldier is fantastic and would be made even more worthwhile if it could be used in conjunction with other variants. I would appreciate feedback when possible and hope the above information will aid in materializing a solution in some way or another.

Thank you for a moment of your time.

Sincerely,

-- Dawson

Now that I'm somewhat knowing what I'm doing, I'm recompiling its QC to call to a different file path.
Thank you for looking into this dilemma.

Updated him, did some other stuff like phongs so his armor/helmet reacts to light a bit better. He might be a bit more flexible since I did edit some stuff but I'm not too sure.
Cool! Thank you kindly! This has officially one-upped its source variant.
Um, I'm afraid to say that the model is not appearing in the player model selection screen. It's functioning just fine as a typical ragdoll, but not so much for the former case.
To assue you that the model no longer conflicts with others, though, here's an in-game screenshot: http://images.akamai.steamusercontent.com/ugc/308864099124423049/2C503E37ED3A03F298084C0926EEB3294370E2D8/
