1. I know it's a bit wild, but Unicorns could be added. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Unicorn
'The unicorn was depicted in ancient seals of the Indus Valley Civilization and was mentioned by the ancient Greeks in accounts of natural history.' - You could add them to a province up in the hills of the top of the Indus River
2. You could have the idea of 'Fairy Hunting' event even if only people who are 'belivers' in magic can do, and you could find; Fairies, Leprechaun, Nymphs, Pixies, Fauns, Merpeople, Gnome, Hobgoblins, Grundels or Elves. Each one could give you speical events or could 'manifest' into humanoid beings in your council or courtiers.
3. You could have people go over bridges on in-game events (I know it sounds cheesy) and trolls come out that you have to interact with.
4. When a 'beliver' dies, maybe have a Ghost of them haunt their castle and could cause courtiers in that province go mad ar paranoid ect.
5. You could give wizards the chance to create a familiar who could help then with casting magic.
I have now idea if any of these suggestions are plausable to your mod, but if they are hope you can implemet them.
The "hidden vampire" idea is one I definitely want to implement, and I plan to work on it soon. I've been pondering how best to implement it for a while, and I think I can make it work via character modifier rather than trait. Theoretically that way it can also wear off after some very long period, e.g. a few decades, simulating people forgetting about those monster accusations. At the same time I'll probably make it more likely to occur as the vampire/werewolf gets older, as people would probably get suspicious of the same ruler never aging or dying.
As for feeding, I think the penalty makes sense given the victim prisoner dies in the process. It's pretty similar to just executing the prisoner but with a more significant benefit.
Thanks for all this feedback; a lot of ideas going on here, but I can think of some of them working well, particularly familiars for wizards.
1. Turning people should cost something, like prestige or piety, because as it stands, as soon as I turn someone, my fledgling will then turn a courtier, and then they'll turn a courtier, and then soon enough you'll end up with a couple hundred vampires, when they should probably only be interested in turning "worthy" humans, such as those with magical talents, titles, or good stats.
2. Luciferian shares the holy sites of Catholicism, perhaps they should be switched around to either make them somewhat closer to Vlad or maybe put them in areas that have significant "vampire" folklores?
3. Perhaps another dragon ruler, nestled underneathe the realm of Karen? Zoroastrian myth had about a hand-full of named dragons, such as Azh-Dahak.
Also Djinn when? :p
Demons are an interesting idea; now that you mention it I may consider adding various Christian mythology figures as characters much like I did with Greek and Norse paganism. Could add Angel and Demon traits and a bunch of theoretical interactions for Christian characters.
As for other mythical artifacts, this is definitely a good idea and I will work on adding others.
1)All fantasy guys should have stronger start.Such as vlad having wallachia duchy or welsh guy holding his duchy. This suggestion so while player is one these chars it aint problem ,But after playing for a while with vlad , i see werewolfs still hanging on his small duchy, welsh guy lost his land , dragons doing nothing much feels weird.
2)Holy orders for new religions.
3) Moar retinues :)
4)New portraits from some other mods if possible
5)More fantasy chars
6)Splitting huge empires to smaller chunks
More characters, retinues, and holy orders are all great ideas.
Difficulty-wise, that's pretty intended: the mod is meant to maintain the base game's feeling of taking place in actual history (assuming a lot of old myths to be true of course), so I actually want keeping those myths alive to be somewhat difficult and for them to naturally die off when played by the AI.
I would also suggest to add elves and humans with "elven blood" (elven descendants) in them, since they are present in norse folklore and would add to a tolkienesque experience.
PS: I love your mod. :D
