Bug? One Soldier didn´t evaced and got in custody
Hi,
I just finished an hostage rescue mission (I hope it is called that, my game is not on English so I am not sure :/ ) and had to realise that a sniper of mine hasn´t made it out and got into custody after I prerssed "Evac All", even he was in the evac zone.
Further Info, I´m playing Iron Man, it was the last possible turn, I got a squad of 5, the hostage was evaced the turn before, all enimes were dead, the other 4 did the animation and the turn finished with the sniper still being in the evac zone.
I first thought about a grafik bug, but sadly it was no :/
I am not sure if it is a bug of the mod or just a configuration mistake of mine or so. Just wanted to say it if others had the same problem before.

There is a bug in the base game where if you place an evac zone such that some of the tiles are underneath things like Street signs, buildings, roads, etc those tiles ar e not eligible for evac. The last version I updated should paint those tiles with a red overlay to give you a hint that they can't be evaced from. Are you subscribed to get the latest version?

You might get a vip rescue mission later where the captured soldier is the vip, sucessfully completing will add them back to your roster retaining their current rank and traits.

I think that I have subscribed it, but i´m not really used to the workshop, I´ll definetly check that out. (Checked it right now, should be)
But I didn´t placed the evac zone it was set by the game, it was that kind of mission where you have to extrac the vip and get it to the evac zone at the other side of the map within 12 rounds or so.

Thanks. It could be that the overlays aren't working with the preset evac zone, but someone else reported a similar issue so it could be that they aren't working for some people at all. I'll try some more testing to try to make sure. It's hard to test with the preset zones though as they are partially blocked only rarely.
