Another artist made the Sari New Loka Syandana and, if you look at the first video, it was intended to have the wings "extend" a little when you jump, so it's in the same boat as this one. It made it into TennoGen round 1, but was declined with "this item is pending further rigging bandwidth."
In their Comments, that artist said: "Nah, they don't wanna add it yet since they have to add additional code for it to work in game (namely the wing flap animation during sprint and aimglide, so wing type syandanas are a waste of time right now)"
TLDR: I imagine a jetpack triggering any animations on jump/bulletjump/etc would fall into a similar category requiring additional code.
It's an awesome idea, but we need to convince DE to implement stuff like that. I'd love to see more advanced syandanas that do stuff based on player actions.
