Bugs and/or Issues: Report Them Here!
If there are any legitimate bugs, please post them here!

Hey CapnBubs, the Bob hair style for females looks odd with the Gas Mask and Ballistic Goggles helmet options. If you look at the back of their head, it looks like the hair is being pressed inward or something. Additionally, the Dirty Bangs w/ Bun hairstyle periodically will bug out with the Gas Mask and cause the hair to disappear entirely.

Kind of makes those options unusable with those styles. :(

I think that the behaviour your are talking about is intended, I'm using the same hair fallbacks that are already included in the game to stop the hair from clipping. Try using the headband and you'll see some of the same behaviour with the hair getting tucked in to the headband at the back.

Some of the hairstyles will lose their bangs at the front because they are tucked behind whatever they are wearing, this is to stop them from clipping through the mesh.

you could go in to the editor and create a mod that changes the hairstyle fallbacks, it's quite difficult though as you have to copy all references to the hair styles along with the hair archetype in to your own unreal package. Then I'm not entirely sure how XCOM decides which mod to load first so I don't know how to make sure it loads over the top of other mods.

Wow, I managed to recreate that hair dissapearing bug, thanks for spotting that. I'll try and fix it.

I have another bug/clipping issue.

On the Upper/Lower face props when selecting the Balaclava and Ski Mask the hair just clips through it.

They are not usable as those prop types by default, it's the Free The Hood mod that is allowing you to wear them as face props.

Thanks for the answer :).

The game crashes when trying to play with the advent helmets mods and yours, you can avoid this by just moving the mod to another folder, starting the laucher, adding it to the mods folder and refreshing.

Somehow the texture of the newer helmets and gasmasks in the mod (which is wonderful, by the way) turns into white/purple. It also changed the hair of one of my soldiers to white and purple.
The textures are just gone, only white and purple remain as colors.

similar issues were reported on my mod too; in that case it's showing up with pitch black color. Like the textures were suddenly gone.
Still no clear idea what's causing it...
So I've suddenly started having the problem where mortions of the models are pitch black, most notably the kevlar helmets, ballistic goggles and the new nightvision goggles. I thought maybe there was a mod conflict but I ruled it out by starting a new game with only the accesories pack loaded - still pitch black textures.

Any idea what could be causing it?

Hi, sometimes there can be a conflict even if other mods are not loaded, just by having them in the menu.

It will break the mod if you have more than one version of the mod installed, for instance this version and an old nexus version, even if you only load one of them.

I'm certain the latest (March 20th) update to this mod is causing my frequent crashes (on the PC). It happens roughly 50% of the time whenever I load a saved game on a mission map. Funny thing is I'm not even using the new NVG's, but I've narrowed it down to the latest mod update because of the following:

1) I never had a single crash in XCOM2 prior to the "NVG update" of this mod, even after 80+ hours of play (and I've used the prior versions of your mod for most of that time).

2) Immediately following the NVG update my game began to hang/crash (roughly half the time) whenever I reloaded a saved game on a mission map. Going from never crashing at all to crashing every other saved-game load is difficult to miss.

3) After a day of this, I unsubbed to your mod and manually reinstalled the pre-NVG version available on the Nexus. I can no longer get XCOM2 to crash whenever I reload a saved game (and I've done dozens of reload tests in an attempt to confirm).

4) This is the only mod I use.

It's unfortunate, because for me it probably means I won't be able to use any future updates to this mod (so long as the problem introduced with the NVG update persists). I couldn't even begin to guess where exactly the problem is, but it does appear to have something to do with the newest NVG update.

That said, your artwork additions to this game have been simply fantastic.

That's a possibility I wasn't aware of. In that case I'm going to have to be much more active in pruning my mod library.

Replying to my own comment to say that I fixed the issue I was having - turns out it was a simple mod conflict. Even inactive mods causing issues is something I'll have to take into consideration from now on.

Hello. First, I should probably start by saying what a really, really nice job you've done with these. Thanks for choosing to share your talents with us.

I have also been getting the white-purple missing textures issue, visible here: https://flic.kr/p/FCfcXc

Sometimes, it actually looks pretty cool as-is, but still is probably not intended behavior. I'm using OSX 10.11.3, and have installed a few other mods. Here's the list:
  • This mod
  • Evac All
  • World Expansion Project: ADVENT
  • More Maps Pack
  • Custom Face Paints
  • Stop Wasting My Time
  • The 3 LongWar mods

To the best of my knowledge, I don't have any older versions of anything sitting around.

Any thoughts would be appreciated; or, alternately, just letting you know it's not a completely isolated incident. Although, that guy's purple helmet actually is pretty stylish...
