The face...
Not being sarcastic, but maybe make it less of a chicken and more of an insectoid... that'd make it furious. Basilisks may be wholesomely deadly but not very feirce looking...xD

The name is based on a french legend. France's symbol is a rooster.
Must I explain more ?

as cool as this thing looks it heavily reminds me of the monster Badaxtra from an episode of dexter's lab

Uhm...Basilisks I saw were from the myths of Scottland...idk what French myths lay around at all but I at least know for sure there is one of a half rooster half serpent with very deadly, poisonous "stares" because it lets off a toxic gas or something...I forgot now that its been awhile...><

good idea...obviously tweak it alil to rid of the copywrighted material and then make it collectible for all :D lol...would be nice...
