Can't you just make a compatibility mode that lets people have the mod installed without using it? AKA literally just remove the black screen and noise and moving the notification out of the way. I don't understand why you made this mod not allow anyone to play the game at all without linking it to a teamspeak. It's better to play on a server that has this mod without mounting it than to have it installed anyway, and that is encouraging people to join a server with different mods which in turn causes problems for both the user and the server. There is a significant minority of players who do not want to install teamspeak for either a personal reason or a very similar reason why you do not like to use Discord, and they are blocked from using a number of mods such as ViruZ and playing a number of servers due to this mod not allowing them to play without installing the software. Are you just going to say "♥♥♥♥ you, install teamspeak or kill yourself" to those players? How would you feel if you were forced to use a discord, in an alternative universe where Discord servers cost money and you don't know how to port forward?
Are you mixing up Mods here? TFAR doesn't have a Blackscreen or anything that forces you to have Teamspeak connected. It only has the small notification in the bottom right telling you that it is not connected. You can still play fine without.
