Can't run Arma with ALiVE Mod
I've been playing Arma for months now. Every other mod I've installed works, but the ALiVE mod does not.

With only the ALiVE Mod (and CBA3) installed, I get an error as soon as the game renders anything.

I have 16 gb of DDR3 RAM, and well over that amount on the harddrive. What could be the issue?

This message pops up afterwards:

Error still occurs with CBA_A3, versions 3.1.2, 3.1.1, 3.1.0, and 3.0.0.

Is there something potentially wrong with my ssd? With my installation of the mod? With my pc itself?

I'm using only 1.66 Arma 3, ALiVE, and CBA_A3.

I've tried versions 3.1.2, 3.1.1, 3.1.0, and 3.0.0, all of which do not work unfortunately.

BUMP!
Good friend of mine has that error too 1:1.
I also had that error, but I switched from Windows 10 back to Windows 7 and since then only have it sometimes or more often when I host a game on my Computer.
I also have 16 GiBytes RAM and a SSD

Sometimes it says something about "Error while creating texture", also only with ALiVE and CBA dont know if this is releated though...

Sorry Jonas, there's really nothing we can do to help. As it's very localised issue that we cannot repro I can only suspect it's something to do with your local PC, another map or mod you're using, or a corrupted install of either ArmA or ALiVE.

Out of memory crashes sometimes happen if you're throwing too much at the game at once. x64 bit should help there at any rate.

Getting similiar problem. CAn load into Arma just fine, can use other mods just fine. Loading just ALIVE, this is what is happening:

RAM usage gets to 1.5 gb or so, it then proceeds to DOUBLE in usage until all 24GB of memory is used up, locking everything up. Verify files shows everything ok, have tried 3.2 and 3.12 of CBA. I've tried loading it on 32 bit as well, no joy.

I'm also getting a similar error to SG_Pedrolg and Your Comrade Stalin, I've tried everything I can to fix it, I found my Error on Bohemia Interactives site here:

https://community.bistudio.com/wiki/Arma_3_Unusual_process_exit#0xC0000005_-_ACCESS_VIOLATION

And I've tried everything on the list of fixes but nothing has worked.

I'm pretty certain it is ALiVE, and not the game or the computer, because as soon as I delete all my ALiVE modules the game runs as smooth as butter without error.

Wether or not the ALiVE devs can reproduce it, it is evident to me that it is an error with the mod and not the game or the computer. Too bad nobody has found a fix...

(ps, I am running on x64 bit Arma. I am using quite a few mods, however the game always runs fine until I set up the ALiVE modules).

-Update: I'm going to reinstall ALiVE soon to see if it will help at all, I will share the outcome of the reinstall.

-Update: I reinstalled ALiVE and it seems to be working again, even with all the extra mods, at first I wondered if it was conflicting with another mod, but I have no idea what it's issue was now...

-Update: Everything was working great until I added the Civilian placement and civilian population modules. As soon as I set those up, I got the error again, so I took them away and tested the mission out, no error. If you are getting this error and you have the civilian modules set up, try getting rid of them and see if the error goes away.
