Yes I very much agree! Wish it was this way. It seams like the Kraker NTM Tandem addon for Volvo FH16 2012 does this,

Finally got out my wheel again to complete the current WoT event, but I can't get the 1.30 mods to work. The replacement mod doesn't seem to replace anything, and no chassis are added.

I can't get the 1.31 set of mods to work either, from http://download-ets2.com/trucks-ets-2/volvo-trucks/14207-kraker-ntm-ekeri-addon-for-eugenes-volvo-fhampfh16-2012-v10-bycapital.html Seems like the game is always crashing when visiting the Volvo dealership :(

Bit of a bummer, but I might look into it again when I have more patience. The event only uses the new Krone trailers, so we're back on the tractor truck for a while.

Thanks for bringing it up though, it looks great and I hope I can get it to work eventually :)
