Problem with "No Cargo" without using a trailer

When you are not using a trailer there seems to be a physics problem with the truck becoming unstable (rocking) and the inability to back up-it shudders and stops. I tried several No Cargo loads which allow you to use the truck sans trailer...no change. Now using a trailer there seems to be no issue. Thoughts?
