Expand this to get as part of a supply raid
What I mean is while it's a good start, go back to it having its own weapon and skills that the enemy Mecs have. It using our gear doesn't look great. Somehow allow for color or pattern changes tho.

Again it's great that you made it a unit but how about adding a small chance that when we go on a supply raid that we can gain one of these as part of the supplies from the raid? From that point on, we can use them (if we find them) through supply raids. If they get destroyed in combat, we lose them and would have to find a new one through a new supply raid mission by chance.

I think just getting them for free through your mod isn't fun. Make us work for them.

That could possibly work around the difficulty of making a "soldier" buildable.

Been trying to do this, it uses screen listeners and is glitchy as f*** so far every method i try just does not work.

try to make it as a new mission type, asset raid and if no creats got blown up get him as a unit.

yes! Thats exactly what i mean! Would be a cool way to get a mec but actually wok for it. Again, just keep the mech with its normal weapons and skills tho. Just add option to change color or patterns on it. And allow for it to be named lol.

maybe in the future, if you could get it to work... adding a small maybe 3 tier skill tree would be cool too. Not not 100% needed at the moment

buildable? Will this be something we can just build or do we need to first kill one, research it and then build our own?
