BUG Reports
Please include as much information as possible for reproducing the bug. Simply saying "plez fix" is not enough for me to be able to efficiently or effectively identify the problem and address it. If you can provide a solid description of when the bug occurs, whether it occurs consistently, or a list of steps to reproduce the bug, I will be able to fix it much more quickly.

I'm having an issue with being able to usre more than 11 characters to rename any of my weapsons/armors/etc.
There's no issues with renaming anything, and no issues with attaching mods, just the character limit.
I tried removing any mod that might conflict - issue persists
I tried narrowing down any mod by enabline/disabling them one by one - issue persists
I tried starting a new game with just this mod installed - issue presists
I tried deleting my config folder under my games and letting it re-bake - issue persists
I did have your 1.5 version from Nexus installed, so I tried this verson (2.0) and the issue persists.
I installed your old version (1.3) from Nexus and did not have the character limitation issue. I could rename stuff with more than 11 chacters. I even tried increasing the limit to 30 in the .ini file and it worked.
I tried looking in my launch log, but couldn't find anything related to this mod (though I might have missed something)
Any ideas?

@untamedwolf: Can you confirm for me that if you change the localization string for the input box label, that the updated value shows?

Thanks for looking into this. I re-installed this version (2.0) and changed the following in the RenameSecondaryWeapsons.int:

[UISL_Armory_WeaponUpgrade]
m_strCustomizeWeaponName="Weapon Name *B****hes!"

[UIArmory_EquipmentSelect]
m_strListTitle="Upgrade Equipment, Hos!"

The upgrade equipment new value did show up in game, but it doesn't look like the new weapon name value showed up. It still said "Weapon Name" on the screen where you type in the weapon's name.

I went ahead and reinstalled v1.3 and tried the same thing. The Weapon Name did show the new value.

Okay, something is preventing my mod from replacing the click handler for the rename weapon button. In other words, it's still launching the default Weapon Rename entry box, hence why the length isn't customised. This is strange since the latest version of the mod and the earliest version use the exact same technique for replacing the click handler.

Okay, I made a fix for the issue. Please let me know if the latest version has resolved the problem for you.

Just tested it, and thanks so much! That seemed to have resolved the issue. I was even able to increase the character limit to 30 and it worked.

Any chance we could get the updated version on Nexus?

please make an update for the new alien hunter dlc. i can eqipp the new alien hunter weapons and give them an upgrade but the display is wiered. thanks

Alright, Ive had some issues with a bug.

When I enter the Weapon Upgrade Menu and Click Any of the Upgradeables
(Armor Primary secondary and Heavy/Power weapon slots)

There is a Chance (Not exactly sure what the chances are but for me they were often)
That things will happen.

1:
The Unit That has the Item in question Equiped Will Completely Vanish, But will Return after equiping a diffrent set of armor and then re-equiping the first set. Now, this may seem like a quick fix, but that brings me to the second bug that has a chance of occuring

2:
This can be caused by Bug #1 or The Unit Taking the same route as #1
The Unit Will Show as it Normaly would, But with one difference, They Will not Unload after selecting another unit, Changing rooms, Or passing time on the Holo-Globe.

The Only Thing that will Fix The bugs is saving and loading the save you just made.
However This is also another opertunity For a Bug to activate.

When a loading screen appears it will not load, It will continue to Make the little hum and move the loading screen image ( The Screen you see when loading missions, saves, ect.)
Intell You Force quit the Game.

incompatable with the long war perk mod is there anyway to fix this only modable items is primary again :(

@Ragebayne: Most likely I will need to change the screen listener, as I have been informed that they used a class override that breaks that. I will try to get this done as soon as possible as I understand that while this is not my mod's fault and firmly rests with LW team, it is a breaking change.

Just tried to load my recent save and it says missing "RenameSecondaryWeapons" mod.Do I need to start a new campaign with the recent changes you have made? Welcome back btw, love the mod and your work!

@cattlekiller: I had issues with the mod structure, but you should be able to enable Mod Everything through the loader as normal, and just continue your save game. The mod itself doesn't change any game state information so will not affect save games.

Awesome, thanks for the quick reply.Mod everything was alredy enabled, but if it all works after the changing the structure just gives that message when I load saves that is all fine with me :).
