Parcel Bug Reports
IMPORTANT, PLEASE READ!
In order to fully diagnose bugs I will need you to upload your save game so I can look at it closely.

Also, it is very important to understand that running a large selection of mods at the same time can potentially cause many issues, including crashes!

Another way to help diagnose your bugs/crashes is to run XCOM 2 in log mode. If you run the game with -log command line parameter you will be able to find Launch.log in Documents/My Games/Xcom2/XcomGame/Logs

You can upload this log to pastebin or any other text hosting site and link it here and I can take a look at what is causing the crashes / bugs.

The best way to help me with finding bugs is to run a campaign using ONLY the More Maps Pack and see if the issue still occurs. I realise that this is unwanted or unfeasible for 99% of users and that is fine, but please understand that finding bugs is extremely difficult without a save game provided and no other mods running.

If you think you were playing on one of my parcels and came across something strange or buggy then please let me know! Try to be as detailed as possible! It's weird how the smallest details can usually be very important when tracking down bugs :)

After the newest update, I had unstoppable crashes in the skyranger near the start of the game when I went to rescue a resistance haven.

I have a whoooooole bunch of other mods however - but when I disabled this one it started loading fine.

Probably a compatibility issue on my end... says nothing in the debug logs

Currently I have no content in the mod that affects the restistance haven map set. However, if you find you are still having issues when enabling this mod please let me know and I will look into it further!

What files does "More Maps Packs" add/overwrite/overload?

No files are over written, it's all new content

Did you make any changes or additions to the city tilesets? I am hesitant to blame my issues on your mod of course, because I am known to mod games into Oblivion and back, but after adding this mod I have had repeated crashing in the Skyranger while loading into either of the Guerrilla Ops missions I am being given located in cities. Has thus far halted my campaigns progress. : /

Can you be clear which city set you mean, there are the Slums and the Advent City Centers. I currently don't have any content in the Advent City Center set.

Crashing while travelling inside the skyranger (I assume you mean the interior of the skyranger where you can see all your solders?) definitely points towards a map generation problem. I will have a look around and check if any of the parcels I have added could possibly do anything to cause a crash.

Some ennemies are spawning on parcel from where they can't move... specially in the skyranger's defence in the desert.

can you get a screenshot of where they are stuck? The maps are procedurally generated so saying "The skyranger defence in the desert" is not useful for finding the bug, as the map will be different every time!

I believe the missions were both in slums. Either one I picked, I wind up with a crash during the Skyranger loading screen. Both are slums from memory.

would you be able to upload your save game somewhere for me to grab and do some testing on it? That would be really helpful, but I understand if it's too much hastle.

I've done some testing on my end and I can load into a Slums map, save the game. Quit and reload the save just fine here.

Another question would be : what other mods are you running in your game? It is unfortunately the case that lots of mods can interfere with each other currently as the mod community is still finding its feet and working out best practices etc. Myself included!

Yeah. I'll probably play again this week. If I run into the issue I'll send you the stuff. How do you collect crash reports and share saves???

you can use any text hosting service like pastebin for the crash log. Upload that first and then if I need to see save games as well I can ask.
