Traffic++ V2 crashes Cities: Skylines V1.4+
After the 1.4 Snowfall Update, I could no longer play Cities: Skylines. It has taken me weeks to figure out what was causing the crash. After finally having an entire weekend without plans, I spent it all working on finding the issue.

Here is a Link [plays.tv] to a video of the crash. This video is 3 Minutes and 55 Seconds long. 3 Minutes and 30 seconds of the video is just Cities: Skylines loading.

What I did to track down this crash...

Deleted EVERYTHING. Cities: Skylines. All of the mods. All my saves. Anything tied to Cities: Skylines and Colossal Order. Deleted.

Re downloaded Cities: Skylines. Let Steam re-download all of my sub-ed Mods and assets.

Verified Game Integerity.

Then once that was done I started a new game. NO MODS. (I did NOT use the -No Mods -no workshop tag in the properties) I just disabled all mods in the content manager.

Played my new city for an hour.

Then I turned on the Dev Mods - Unlimited Money and Unlock All.

Played the city again, just fine, for an hour.

Next I turned on the folowing mods ONE BY ONE testing (playing) each one for an hour:

Automatic Bulldoze - Website link

Precision Engineering - Website link

All of these mods together worked just fine! Played my city for 10 hours without issues.

THEN I saved my city and exited the game. Copied my save to my desktop and duplicated it to the save folder.

Started Cities up again. Loaded Traffic++ V2 and exited the game.

Re-started the game again and loaded my city. Then the crash happened.

So! I started up Cities again disabled Traffic++ V2 and restarted the game. Once it loaded again I lodaded up the save that had Traffic++ V2 loaded and it still crashed even with the mod disabled.

So conclusion is..... ONCE THIS CRASH HAPPENS the save is unplayable. EVEN AFTER disabling Traffic++ V2.

I forgot to save the Output_Log for you but that doesnt take long to get if you need it.

MY COMPUTER SPECS:

AMD FX 9350
16GB Memory
AMD R9 390x
Windows 10 PRO 64-bit

I absolutely hate that the savegames become completely unplayable once a patch is released. Makes this game so unstable for mod use.

I just disabled the mod, restarted the game and my saved game worked again. Hope the mod-maker can fix it soon, cause i already mis this great mod.

Maybe this will help. Seems to be the errormsg for the bug. If i start the game without Traffic ++V2 it wont come.

its happening to me too... i love and hate this game at same time, every time i want to play it it crashes, when last week it worked... God, if there was a way for the game to stop updating or something.....

It's not the game. It's the mods. The base game works just fine.

I only just installed this mod and noticed a few crashes. I guess this might be the reason. It doesn't even seem to work properly. I set new speed limits on some roads and it didn't change a thing.

One of the actual KNOWN issues with this mod is that Lane Speed Changes are not actually reflected in the Vehicles Speed.
