Vehicles will sometimes stop in the middle of a highway for no reason, causes traffic jams.

only some vehicles do it but they will always do it at the same spot.

from a post on reddit (8 months ago and a previous version) someone suggested that it was the game "recalculating routes" and to just leave the game for 5 minutes. I tested by leaving it for about an hour and it was still happening.

anyone have any ideas? is the mod just too processor intensive? the older versions worked fine even on my ♥♥♥♥♥♥ laptop and I have a gaming rig now and this mod is maxing my cpu.

same here aditionally i get botleneks where all vehicles wants to get into the same file so it goes from a 8 lane higway to a 1 lane

I was about to post this and then I saw yours. I've only had this problem starting today. Furthermore, Traffic Report Tool (as well as the raw game) fails to recognize vehicles anymore when you hover. It seems to me like the entire vehicle AI is crashing. Not to mention, unlike OP, it is NOT maxing my processor, keeping it around the 70% or so that CS normally runs, although it seems at first glance that it averages lower after vehicles stop moving, indicating the processor is receiving slightly fewer instructions.

Same thing here, doesn't change with vehicle persistence turned off.

I'm having the same issue as of last night. Though if I spaz the "clear traffic" button a few times, it seems to help alot.

Not sure if its related to this issue, but I've just noticed that I can no longer select bus lanes to change speed limits or allow other vehicles etc. My buses won't use bus lanes neither will emergency vehicles (lights flashing).

I have this issue as well. Getting traffic waves all over highways where cars won't pass trucks. Traffic levels are spiking in those areas too (turning red). City is < 2000 people! Industry dies quickly as trucks can't reach them...

same here. Without traffic++, traffic is not using the lanes in a meaningful manner. But Traffic++ V2 has this stopping problem which even makes it worse. I am using Traffic++ in combination with Toggle traffic lights, network extension, overwatch, enhanced hearse, traffic report tool. From the latter, I can say that vehicles stopping somewhere on the street, completely lost their path (no path at all).
