Performance issue since one of the last updates?

Another issue I'm having since a few days: Performance has declined a great deal a few days ago, but I have not installed any new mods. So I believe it has been introduced with one of the last updates, probably of this mod.
Is it possible that the "Pathfinding major refactor" (see change notes) is causing it?
