When i was in the Navy, i reached a point where i was referred to as "♥♥♥♥ hot". It meant i was the Golden Girl of the staff. And because of this, i used my golden status to get out of a lot of things everyone else on the staff had to do.

One day we had a change of command to attend. 2-3hrs of sitting in a hangar bay of an Aircraft carrier for a Captain who wasn't my boss to take over the carrier. I didn't want to go and I was working to get out of it. But my 1st class sat me down and told me this:

You may not want to go, i know i don't. But if you do not go to this, people will notice, people will complain, some heat will come down, and it will look bad. However, if i go, then no one can say anything even if they wanted to because I was there. He said, "IS2, sometimes its just about presence".

And this is what is going on here in this Workshop.

Your lack of presence is creating anxiety, doubt, panic all of these equate to "fear and uncertainty". And no one should have this feeling regarding this mod. No one. But yet people do and if you read the comments, or you use a 2nd account so people do not know it is you and log into servers that run P+U - you will detect a palpable level of fear and uncertainty.

People have "once again re-invested" in your work, based on the tone of your posts, the new events in your life with your position at WildCard and the PrimitivePlus becoming "Official".

And although anyone seeking you can find you on Trello posting fixes ( i am a subscriber).... it is your lack of presence in any form in this workshop that is creating a palpable level of fear and uncertainty.

Admins are now looking at difficult choices.. If they remove this mod, they lose something they may have loved and/or something that many of their users really wanted badly. However if they pull it and then you do fix it, they can't put the mod back in without a wipe. A very difficult decision - especially heavy RP worlds where people will struggle to recreate their character storyline, background and everything else they have done up to that point of wipe - in character diaries now useless as the world is not the same. Which is what my player base did when we switched, and I cannot ask this of them again.

This last paragraph above exists for only one reason:

Lack of presence.

You may see yourself working hard, and i believe you truly are. But when you ignore those who chose to invest in your vision because you cannot simply stop for 15 seconds and post a 1-2 sentence update you cause people to divest, to lose faith, to lose hope - you create the atmosphere to give rise to fear and anxiety and these negative emotions and such can all be assuaged and even prevented with one post which shows them Presence.

However, lack of a single post in 2 weeks...

Frustration, sadness, for some anger or rage, and others on top of these mentioned emotions is disappointment, not neccessarily in you, but in themselves for investing their player base in what they strongly believe was something that would be everlasting as anything could be in a game world, especially since WildCard is now involved.

I can understand if you are overwhelmed by your current workload and I sympathtize with you on this and only ask that if you cannot for whatever reasons post the message yourself that you aassign an official proxy / mouthpiece / assistant to post messages for you.

Please remember what happened after the mod contest from "Lack of Presence". People saying horrible things, making horrible accusations, and you telling people who defended you (like me) that your detractors were justified. Be that as it may, justified or not, one thing would have prevented so many pages of negative posts, and that one thing is this:
