I did this thing at one point on the old map.I would record the amount of hit out of 100,10 times and I would average it and do the same for a whole week every day and try to increase the average number of hits.If you could integrate some kind of average shots hit that would be amazing.

Hey crash! Big thanks for this, you are a savior. One thing that always bothered me with the old aim map was the missed counter would only count the number of bullets hitting the wall and not the number of target missed. If the counter could be toggle between both values this would be awesome.
OldGabe 21 Feb, 2016 @ 4:33pm
Ok, so just tried it. Great work so far!!! Totally better than the other one! The negative : 1. The counter to the right side, i guess I need to get used to it but I'd love for it to be in the middle like the old map, hopefully this isn't too much of a nitpick. 2. The little sound from the old map when you hit the target was super satisfying, can you bring it back or another sound like it?

The positive: 1. Love the look, the way it's setup with the panels and things it's great.
2. The little chat message with the results is a great idea
3. Love the light switch.

will try it more and comment back later!

EDIT:

To add some more, some kind of circle or cross in the middle of the shooting wall would be a nice addition to the existing alpha.

and a suggestion, I we could pop a wall or a corner in the middle of the levels so we could practice straffing out of the corner to shoot the targets.

Another problem I have is that the first target shows up a little bit too fast, and the map is missing the 4th level.

as #04 said, it wold be great to have a sound countdown to start (5/s beeps) or the second target apear only when you shot the first one, and also i recomend you to change the crash target sound to a clean beep, keep it going, thanks <3

Didn't see a post for suggestion, so I'll just repeat the suggestions made in comments :D

Thank you for making this!
There's sth missing from the original one though.
A "ding" sound after hitting a target will make hitting a target easier to notice;
and grid on the shooting board indicating the centre of it so that users can know where to put the corsshair in the intervals, prepaing for another target.

Thanks man, I really hated how the original training aim map was left to break over the update. Now, I can get back to the "Road to New Global" training with static mode set to .25 delay, .5 duration, and 50 targets. I would suggest the MLGMountainDewDoritoHornBlareWeedHitSound™ to be added when hitting targets as feedback for hitting the targets. Also, see if you can get the angle training re-added, since I would train to be able to accurately hit 72 targets in a 60 second duration in that mode.

Awesome, can't wait until "intensive fast aiming" is added.

The dark mode is great! - could you also add a darker mode?

Would it be possible to add two more further distances/levels?

make the wall wide like the old one please, because it covers a larger surface for muscle memory :)

Awesome, been waiting for variable timers for a long time.

- Start button in the middle of the screen. For low sens players the low button is annoying, always having to lift up mouse before ready. On the old map this usually gave me a bad start on the first exercise.

- Option for a "game-like" experience, ~making it a bit more competitive / fun. Example for the first exercise:

* the lower you set the timers the higher the base points.
* the quicker you hit the higher the points.
* variable timers: when hitting 2 targets in a row the timer would automatically lower a bit and when missing 2 in a row it would automatically increase a bit. (or a higher amount). Making it gradually harder & making it easier for people to adjust to the higher level as it happens gradually. The lowering of the timer shouldn't happen too fast.
* perhaps even scoreboards with the top 100 players and / or an option to automatically upload all results to a stats server. A bit like hlstats https://hlstats.wcfan.de/hlstats.php?mode=players&game=csgoaimmap but for the training exercises, allowing people to track their own progress & for teams to track progress of their members. (however also allow it to be toggled off) - could potentially require a premium one time payment for this service to cover server costs (with maybe some stuff also avaiable for free).

* maybe also an option with lives. For example 10 lives, losing 1 each time you miss 2 in a row with a timer that keeps decreasing (no matter if you hit or not instead of the previously mentioned variable one)

This might encourage players to try & focus extra hard, giving the potential for quicker improvement. If it's more fun it might also get done more often. And the point system could be an improved indicator of how well you do.

Also for teams it might be a more fun way to train, compare results, motivate players to do it by making a bit of a competition out of it.

If interested in this concept but don't really know which types of games to go for, you may add me to come up with some more game-like features for the other exercise modes.

- Allow even finer tuning of the timers, like -0.01 option. Because at some point 0.05 becomes quite a significant difference, where -0.01 would allow a very gradual improvement. If 0.01 one isn't possible due to tick or whatever, just make it auto-choose the closest possible tick or something like that if possible.

I'd be happy if you could add a small circle in the center so it's easier to train muscle memory

thx a bunch for the map!! ur our savior from volvo <3
- is it possible to choose ur platform at the settings ?
- like put the start button on top of the target surface ? this way u only have one on the map
- i dont know if possible on this map, but id like a 45-90-135-180 degrees both ways flicks practice, with sound cues as well
- and is it possible to have something like on community servers to have keypress on-screen ?
- yeah a larger target suface would be great
- have unlimited time setting as well for angles and sliding
- for the moving target to be able to select the speed the same way as the timings for static targets, and have preselected speeds for knife, pistol, smg, rifle, walking, etc. and have as well possibility to have targets move sideways like in the training grounds by valve, and select patterns for them as well like aimbotz map by ulletical ?

thx a bunch ang GL with making this the best aim practice map !!

The wall is actually the same size as in the old map

I just added 2 more levels to the map!

Thanks for the feedback, actually forgot about that small update at the first release, I updated the map and added a "beep" sound.

Great work crashez!! Can't thank you enough for making this map after the update! The extra level 5 is fantastic!
One suggestion could be adding the 'Total Missed Shots' counter with the shots hit counter.

PS: This suggestion isn't related to this map. But i was thinking about a map idea for training reactions/aim where it used like a Wall for instance in which a Bot would swing out (like a wide peak) at random and u have like a second or something to kill it before it dissapears. Something to mimic your reaction timing aswell as aiming as would happen in a real game imo would be cool.
