Hoffman's voicepack is being worked on already - he is listed as work-in-progress after all. This thread is about adding even more voices to the mod.
Sorry for caps but as someone else said. Jace Stratton, Samantha Byrne and Bernadette Mataki. The rest of the carmines would be nice. I use Carmine as my Sacrificial lamb and would like to have different dying vocals. Thanks.
Also awesome work on this pack. Very nice and clean. Good volume on the voices too.
Thanks. I will certainly look into adding more voicepacks in the future, currently though I'm taking a break - I got quite exhausted after releasing 21 voicepacks (including all my mods). There is also still the matter of overhauling Shepard voicepack
One important thing to note is also that Anthony and Benjamin Carmine use exactly the same voicefiles ( and thus share voiceactor).
Whilst Gears of War 2 has simply been a breeze & I have the PC audio for Gears of War, I am currently hitting a brick wall on my end in which the XMA files simply won't work with towav.exe, and when using with xmash.exe alongside, I am able to get the music files, but no dialogue nor SFX. I am using a Region Free ISO as the source if that bears any relevance.
Any assistance on the matter would be very much appreciated, as I am getting nowhere no matter how high & low I search for relevant information.
I'm sorry but I'm not sure how to help you here. I extracted all the sounds about 2-3 years ago using a guide on Xentax forums. I tried to google for it, but I'm unable to find it... it might have been removed from their site. I used the guide for all games in the series (1-3 and Judgement), so in theory it would work for all the games.
On the other hand I always saved all audio extractors I downloaded, so I have the necessary programs on my PC, I just dont remember what was used for this game exactly (I have 28 folders of audio extractors xd)
EDIT: I thought about it a little and I remember that I actually also was having problems with XMA, I believe there was something mentioned about having to use an extra script to change the files a little somewhere (outside the guide)
EDIT2: I have no idea will it help you, but here is my folder called "XMA" from sound extractors. I believe I used programs that are there for modifyng the xma files before using towav.exe ... I dont remember though what or how exactly, I hope you can figure it out:

If you used something similiar to this maybe look for changes, what extra files are in this folder compared to your version - it might give you a hint about what to do.
You have my many thanks!
