Angler Gel not burning blue?

I put angler gel in a standing torch and a wall torch and it burns the same as wood, sparkpowder, etc. I'm assuming it's this mod due to the fact that it is the only mod im using that affects the angler gel. any confirmation its this mod, and any fixes?
