1) for flexibility: possibility to set stack size per resource/item, e.g. Wood=1000
2) for simplificaction: a simple multiplier which just scales everything from vanilla, e.g. 2.0 would create wood stacks with 200 instead of 100, meat 40 instead of 20 and so on.
3) for failsafe: If no values or not all/just some values or invalid values are configured the default/hardcoded values from the current mod is taken (or maybe even the vanilla ones)
thats how that other guy does his, in whats called an impact crusher, when setup it has the Bps in it ready to go, but thats for crafting into stacks which is a little different then collecting into stacks..
this imo is the mother of all stack mods the moment she made stone, and cooked meat stack then make jerky as a result from the games vanilla firepit and preserve bin, where all other mods fail to work that way, so really its not her concern due to the other guys mod wrote outside of this stock game code so they could release a mod that works for you, whereas joans stacks follows the game code enough to allow a firepit and preserve bin work proper, and really thats the most important thing even if i cant make a years worth of jerky no more in 15min worth of time using the other guys mod electric stove and jerky smoker. lol, i think that needed to be said to save yourself a headache answering questions, as i been wanting this mod for monthes now and settled with rawrs that dont stack cooked n stone, but every other one that does, breaks server upon removal.
thank you as always for your dedication and time in the past 48 hours to make the jerky work. im friggan happy to not have to explain to people no more why stone dont stack, they never cared about the jerky, only stone for crafting was a pita, and now the mother of all stacks is here, time to build outta stone more. ah i always did. lol its part of the fun. :-)
Fertilizer? any ideas if its possible? to maybe have it stacked in the silo.
thank you for response. now go take a break from this i'm sure you've neglected your irl for past couple days.
Spoiling meat is working the same way, when meat spoils, each piece spoils into its own stack.
I did not see anything about this specifically, but I need see a note about charcoal so maybe this is already known? Or is this something specific to our server again?
i can confirm this stacks works with ark advance all the grinding, and other stuff not pertained to cooking meats, which will be broken, due to the stacks mod wrote in the proper code to work with games vanilla campfire/ind grill then into preserve bin for jerky, ark advance electric stove, and smoker wont work, but everything else yes. grinded lots of spark powder from it already, and all other stuff, ie cauldron, and forges all accept the stacks, and the generator running off of oil only using the joans oil compressor oil stacked in gen works perfect.
Try doing a clean installation of the mod files: meaning delete old files first, reinstall fresh new ones then restart the server.
