I created this fix on my cluster after finding out that this mod is abandoned and breaks so many things in game. first off, I'm going to leave a link to this pastebin that has the GUS INI settings you will need.

Things that break with mod
- Classic flyers dont increase speed on mod
- Tek dino spawns
- Breaks breeding app for import function
- Can't cross breed with vanilla or mate boosting between each
- No Wyverns eggs are spawning

You will need to download another mod called Dino Storage v2 for this to work.

First step is to download Dino Storage v2. Then copy the pastebin code into you GUI
You can now use the soul balls found in that mod to convert Dino Colors Plus dino's back into vanilla dino's. Simply place them into the balls and then throw them out and they should be converted. The balls will show you information with the tool tip as to what type of dino's they are.

After you have converted all of your dino's, shutdown the server, remove the mod and then do a Dino Wipe command on your server at restart. Congratz, you don't need to wipe to play again.
