Hi,
I know you're not the author of this model, but that really isn't a cool attitude to have. If you want something to turn out successful, then you need to look towards outside views for feedback rather than rejecting it under the guise of perceived envy.
If one is creating a model that they want the community to love, then they need to work with the community - whether that's feedback on model quality or general aesthetics. If me and my partner can have a success story based on that mantra, then so can others.
as long as it's not just "this model sucks , it's not accurate at all" i guess there is nothing bad in it
this kind of critisizm (like the one ILLUMM gave) helps modelers to improuve
