Am I wrong ?! im actually confused !
hey ty for the mod i think its very much needed and nice, but i think there is something that u are not taking into account! (im not sure though )

so since this mod has a particular weapon to fire tranq stuff im guessing that u cant find them on drops! if u can then the rest is not needed.

SO if u cant find them on drops the dream machine for instance is doing 6k torpor with 130 narcotics. and 130 narcotics is equal to 130 tranq arrows but if u fire them with at least a JOURNEYMAN crossbow which is pretty easy to find, u can do like 350*2 (2 if u had 200%dmg - depending on weapon quality) torpor at average ratio, so that means u can do like 700 torpor with only 1 narcotics which means that 6k torpor takes like 9 arrows with journeyman crossbow ! so i think u need to do something about this since i dont even think this is like the vanilla routine.and btw i think u are calculating every narcotic at 40 torpor which is wrong ! since the crossbow itself adds torpor to the arrow and it does like 350 torpor on primative i think and so 130 narcos on taming process does 6k but on shooting part 130 arrows does much more than 6k torpor ! its basically the damage of the weapon that counts the torpor not the narcotic.
the only reason that one would prefer these is the TIME that it saves, but even then i dont see the benefit of using nightmare bullets and im using max lvl wild dino 840. but still for a 120k torpor'd giga u would need like 20 nightmare and its like 2600 narcos that i personally dont think its benefitial as a player !
im using the mod on single player btw.

again i might be wrong about the weapon and how it works since i thought it always did 6k in any situation. ( and i just remembered that i could have just used a test shot on my dino and see what happens with the torpor and how much i raises but ehh ...i'll test it tomorrow )

So i think the gun IS in the drop list since the name says "primative" and that is very good to know, also i haven't tested it out on friendly dinos to see the torpor percentage gain and torpor percentage increase ( i mean if the gun had more dmg - the change of torpor it does on impact and 3 secs later) but still if im correct that 130 is too high for 6k torpor ...
S1 plz tell me if im wrong ?!

im sorry that im still going on but i realy like the idea of this mod but i cant realy use it.
So i just knocked out a 812 bronto that had 93k torpor with like 150-200 arrows not sure how many, using a ascendant crossbow with 398% dmg. and obviously if i would have used nightmare bullets i would have wasted a lot of narcotics!

realy hope u apply some tweaks on the mod

Guess it really depends on whether you want to shoot a bunch of arrows, or just a few bullets. we use them for things like Does and gigas to get them down faster.

yea i know and like i said the one great point of this mod is the time that it saves and whats more important than time in ark right ?! heeh. but unless u are running at least x5 harvest or more, this is not a efficient way to tame.i am still using it on single player but still mixing it with arrows coz now im low on mushrooms. narcos aren't a problem anymore coz i got the bronto now and just farming narcos like hell.
