Supply Drop Success!
I wanted to test a remote supply drop from the moon to the Earth-like planet, and tested successfully using the following (in creative):

I created a small ship with medium cargo, remote control, antenna, parachute, and enough thrust & power to move the ship with full cargo (I used modded thrusters and reactors that we use on our server- your combination may vary, so I did not specify quantity or type).

I also stuck a standard passenger seat on the top so I could ride along and monitor.

I then set two waypoints; one on the planet, and the second high enough above the lunar surface to allow line-of-sight to the planet waypoint.

After setting the two waypoints in the remote control, I set the it to precision, one way flight, opened the parachute, then turned on the autopilot. Off we went…

Apart from the speed cap of the remote of about 120 m/s, the journey went well. At around 8k above the planetary surface, I saw the chute deploy… and after another couple thousand meters it inflated and slowed the ship to about 10 m/s. The ship landed 15.8 meters from the waypoint DZ, with only a slight divot in the terrain and no damage to the ship at all.

I will update with the results of a live server test soon…
