Off the top of my head, I think it's possible to make the 5&4 or 6&4 boxes, individually, yes. But it's not possible to combine them as two separate boxes on a single vehicle, no matter how many controllers you have and yes that's a limitation with the game engine itself. The game assumes only a single driveline on a truck, the only mechanism available to us to shift gears is through the one single selector and range/splitter switch.
We can confgure boxes with up to 64 total ratios (16 ratios with range and splitter for each) but we only have a single selector+range+splitter mechanism to shift it with and only a single possible output through the one driveline.
You can use multiple controllers to shift with, but they're all limited to having only a single selector mechanism in the game.
Certainly. I can have a look at building (or at least have a closer look to see if it's actually possible) the individual boxes, but as per above there's no way to combine them as individual units on the same vehicle that I'm aware of.
Hey, I most certainly appreciate the expression of gratitude no question, but it's really Eaton-Fuller's transmission(s) - all I did was convey their operation into the game's transmission definitions. I wanted an accurately represented Super 13 & 18 in ETS2 for the American trucks I was driving back then and... here we are :).
