RTLO xx918 has 2 crawler gears (low-low + low-high) + 16 forward gears and 4 reverse gears (low-low, low-high, high-low & high-high).
--
Yes you can use them with a standard 6 speed H-shifter, I have a G-27 which works just fine with these. The only thing is that if you want the correct shift pattern you'll need a custom shifter layout configured to suit the RTLO xx9xx shift pattern (works fine without this but the shift pattern won't match the real one).
[edit 28-8-2017]
The layout file naming convention has changed to accomodate user layouts. The layouts can now be named as unique files for any number of layouts you like, rather than overwriting the vanilla generated files.
The filenames must now begin with the prefix 'gearbox_layout_'.

This is my shifter layout file for the 18 speed box:
FILE: gearbox_layout_eaton_18L.sii
13 speed box
FILE: gearbox_layout_eaton_13L.sii
[edit]
Corrected range & splitter positions for crawler gear operation.
