* This slider controls the overall sound volume. Turn up your computer's volume if you want it even louder.

* This slider controls the sound volume for:
** the engine sound of the player's truck
** the motor sound of electrified trailers

* This slider controls the exhaust sound volume of the player's truck.

* This slider controls the turbo sound volume of the player's truck.

* This slider controls the sound volume for:
** air brake sounds
** air cutoff sounds
** air gear sounds
** reverse beeper sounds
** player truck horn sounds
** trailer coupling sounds
** gear grinding sound for when the road speed and engine speed is misaligned
** lift axle sounds

* This slider controls the sound volume for:
** tire sounds
** wind sounds
** tire bump / suspension sounds
** crash impact sounds
** brake squeaking sounds
** rain sounds for the interior view (if not using Sound Fixes Pack), and external camera views close to your truck

* This slider controls the sound volume for sounds relating to your trailer, such as:

** reefer engine sound, if you're hauling a reefer trailer

* This slider controls the sound volume for AI traffic vehicle sounds. By default, this includes:
** cars
** buses
** trucks
** slow vehicles such as harvesters and tractors
** trains
** trams

* This slider controls the sound volume for:
** dynamic cargo loading (e.g. grain filling into the grain hopper trailer)
** prefab sounds (e.g. delivery points)
** railroad crossing bell sounds
** gate sounds
** movers (animated objects in the game) such as airplanes
** exterior view rain sounds
** thunder sounds

* This slider controls the sound volume for generic ambient sounds of city and rural areas.

* This slider controls the sound volume for:
** fuel station ending sound sequence (inside truck e.g. putting seatbelt on)
** air warning sounds
** indicator sounds
** stick/switch/button sounds
** parking brake sounds
** wiper sounds
** window opening/closing sounds
** seat noises and interior based suspension sounds
** rain sounds for the interior view (if using Sound Fixes Pack)
** PrePass weigh station beeps
** damaged gearbox / gear grinding sounds
** service brake pedal sounds

* This slider controls the sound volume for the in-game radio and music player.

* This slider controls the sound volume for:
** the voice navigation audio
** the audio from the CB radio cop scouting feature in the mod for American Truck Simulator.

* This slider controls the sound volume for the CB radio voice chat from other players.

* This slider controls the sound volume for the CB radio sound effects that trigger when using the voice chat.

* This slider controls the sound volume for the "late music" (or "Nokia ringtone" with the Sound Fixes Pack).

* This slider controls the sound volume for:
** fuel station sounds (outside)
** click sounds
** camera sound
** error sound
** Special Transport DLC escort vehicle message sound
** ferry/train loading sequence sounds when embarking them
** mail notification sound
** message notification sound
** negative/positive action sounds
** reward sound

* This slider controls the sound volume for the main menu, truck upgrade, and truck service music.

* This slider controls the sound volume for the intro logos when starting up the game.

To disable blind spot warning sounds, this can be done through disabling the "blind spot sensor" in Options > Gameplay.

It's strongly recommended to supplement your sound landscape with "Previous soundproofing", especially if you're not using other sound mods alongside the Sound Fixes Pack. This will make the in-cab audio volumes more accurate for the base game trucks.
