My unimaginative stat ideas.
i) still fires ammo like pellets
+ Does not require ammo
+ Projectile cannot be deflected
- 34% smaller clip
- No random critical hits

So basically like a Pomsom 6000 for Scout. Minus the Cloak/Uber damaging and with the Cow Mangler's cons.
