Homing Pigeon does not make any modifications to the dinos in order to be as compatible and stackable as possible with other mods and the game itself. So it would be up to Wildcard to add the costume slot to the Lymantria. The mod already supports the tag, so in the event that they do, the Leg Ring would be equippable.

Why not reach out to the devs and see if they would add a costume slot to the Lymantria?

I have, at least as well as one can -- they provide a lot of means to communicate with them but they seem to ignore all of them 99% of the time. I was only wondering if you'd heard of any other possibilities, or if you'd been investigating any workarounds (like making it a skin that goes on the saddle), or something. We were all very excited to get this mod and then very disappointed to find that no one can use it on our server anyway. (Though the flag's pretty at least!)

not tried it but the classic flyers mod dev said to look at the moth when i asked him about the same thing and this mod works with that mod.

if it works let me know lol, havent had time to test that mod

No unfortunately not. The mod uses a costume for a number of technical reasons, a saddle skin would not provide the necessary functionality required (this was the original approach I was taking when I first started writing the mod). I feel your pain, but I do appreciate how busy they are/ I'll also reach out to them again and see if we can make this happen.

Perhaps not at this early stage, but the mod does support other flyers on Scored Earth including Wyvern and Argentavis.

Homing Pigeon is fully integrated with Classic Flyers (including the lymantria), so that is a viable option.

I figured, just thought I'd ask. We do finally have an argentavis (tamed it last night!) so it has the ring now.
