Homing Pigeon

Homing Pigeon GameUserSettings.ini Configuration
Homing Pigeon can be customised further by adding the following to your server's GameUserSettings.ini configuration file. The values shown below are the default values:

[HomingPigeon] DisableAutoReturn=False DisableSendToFlag=False DisableRecallToFlag=False AutoPilotWithPassengers=False

DisableAutoReturn
  • Type: Boolean
  • Default Value: False

Applies to all flyers equipped with a Homing Pigeon Leg Ring.

When this option is set to True, flyers will not auto-return to a Homing Pigeon Flag in the event of its riders death. The option to "Set Default Return Flag" in the flyers activation wheel will also be disabled.

When this option is set to False (default behavior), flyers will auto-return to a Homing Pigeon Flag in the event of its riders death. The option to "Set Default Return Flag" in the flyers activation wheel will be enabled.

DisableSendToFlag
  • Type: Boolean
  • Default Value: False

Applies to all flyers equipped with a Homing Pigeon Leg Ring.

When this option is set to True, flyers can not be manually sent to a Homing Pigeon Flag. The option in the flyer's activation wheel will be disabled.

When this option is set to False (default behavior), flyers can be manually sent to a Homing Pigeon Flag. The option in the flyer's activation wheel will be enabled.

DisableRecallToFlag
  • Type: Boolean
  • Default Value: False

Applies to all flyers equipped with a Homing Pigeon Leg Ring.

When this option is set to True, flyers can not be manually recalled to a Homing Pigeon Flag. The option on the flag's activation wheel will be disabled.

When this option is set to False (default behavior), flyers can be manually recalled to a Homing Pigeon Flag. The option on the flag's activation wheel will be enabled.

AutoPilotWithPassengers
  • Type: Boolean
  • Default Value: False

Applies to flyers who have a saddle capable of carrying additional passengers (eg: Tapejara). Allows for these flyers who have additional passengers to still auto-pilot to a flag.

When this option is set to True, the flyer will fly to a Homing Pigeon Flag, along with the passengers it is carrying.

When this option set to False (default behavior) the flyer will only fly to a Homing Pigeon Flag if it doesn't have any additional passengers.
