Mod Conflicts
Hey guys, I'm trying to run Pimp My Dino and I believe I'm hitting a conflict with another mod that prevents this one from running... I realize you aren't responsible for other mods, but if you could take a moment to check out this list and let me know if you spot anything (they're all green puzzle piece mods including yours):

Progressive Weapons and Tools
Extra Ark
Extra Ark Doors
Super Arrows
Reusable Grappling Hook
Corrected Structures
No Collision Structures
Pub Mod
Advanced Architecture Mod
Better Beacons Redux
Utility Saddles

The only thing just looking down the list I could see is utility saddles

The developer of utility saddles insists it wouldn't be a conflict. I'm "conflicted" as we've already invested in utility saddles and it's a really awesome mod - the only thing I could do to test is remove utility saddles check pimp my dino, then restore the old save to get the saddles we've made back.

I know working with another mod developer is not something any of you guys are too psyched about doing - but that mod is really amazing - you might consider having a chat perhaps...

Otherwise we might just keep the utility saddles and not use this one even though it really looks like tons of fun.

** NOTE ** Maybe the Utility Saddle developer knows some code secrets that could help you guys improve how your saddles impact the mounts in a positive way.

Yes maybe but i can't adapt our mod on an other you understand, and I have no other way to know the mod Who conflict with our Than you,
i can't open someone else mod in the dev kit and Last thing until the contest end the mod Will stay like that Thanks

thx! imediately after the contest we will make an update (some new contents are allready done!) and we will try to make a better compatibility with othe mod like our, but for now you have to take it like that ^^

Hello, I did some investigation into the issue postpunk has brought up (I'm the author of utility saddles) and I'm not able to reproduce this issue.

Both mods run perfectly fine in tandem on my server, and looking through your mods files I don't see anything that looks like it would be remapping the vanilla saddles or that even relies on them (Mine does not remapp them either in the event that you do need them intact).

I actually don't see any point of potential interaction between our two mods at all. They work completely adjacent to each other. I don't think the cause of postpunks issue is the result of a compatability problem, at the very least not between these two mods.

Could be your load order? Is the list you posted the order your mods are listed in? Regardless, try putting this mod at the top of the list.

I'm super psyched you guys communicated - im sorry to have caused any worry due to my server's issues. I'm working on trying to figure out what's going on right now. Not super happy that there seems to be some kind of issue on our server preventing mods from running.

UPDATE: I got extra ark 2.0 to work on our sever by moving to the end of the load order... I'm thinking if I keep trying to find the right spot for pimp my dino, maybe i can get everything to work. Thanks so much for the tips and the due diligence. The passion you guys have for your work is amazing.

great!!! later i will ask to the other creature varient mod maker to send me the "tag" name of the new creature to make theme compatible with the saddle if the tag is not the vanilla one, and add the "dodo" tag to the dodu saddle so they will be compatible with every dodo model that have saddle slot
Utility mods and this run perfectly for me

does this mod have to be loaded first to get it to work i have 3 mods on my server and this one is loading last. and not working.

Your load order should be in numerical order EXCEPT for any mod that specifically says otherwise or impacts your game difficulty. For example, I am running several mods. Aku Shima changes the difficult and is the first mod in my load order. Stargate Atlantis requires being first in load order to have full functionality, but can work without being first. So, i have it loading in numerical order instead since its more important for Aku Shima to be first. I currently have the following mods without conflicts (loading in the order shown): Aku Shima, Valhalla, Stairs with Rounded Walls, No Collision Check, Industrial Grinder, Advanced Architecture, Planting, Egg n Poop Collector, Bridge, Pet Companions, Death Helper, Pet Finder, Utility Saddles, Temple Xtras, Find my Tribemates, Pub Mod, Craftable Tribute Terminal, Stargate Atlantis, Pocket Cages, Ark Derby, No Collision Structures, Reusable Grappling Hook, Pimp My Dino, Extra Ark and Darkfall Paintable Chests.

Homing Pigeon possible problem . We lost several Argentavis equipped with PIMP armor that had the rings .

We had to remove with regret the mod Homing Pigeon . :(
