Do we need INS2 for the Muzzleflashes/Particles to work?
This last week, I've been using this pack with no problems and the particles were working as they should. But during the October 26 update, the particles started to glitch, and had pink and black textures everywhere. Is this because I don't have the game, or is it a fault in precaching the particles?

Particles are nothing more than sprites using materials(vmt and vtf files).
I dont redistribute materials.
Yes, you most likely need even more of INS2 game content for this pack now.

Well, ♥♥♥♥. I don't have the game itself. Do you have an older version that uses the default CW 2.0 muzzleflash? Because I would really like to continue playing with this and it's a little distracting with the glitchy muzzleflashes and particles. Thanks.

Well, I downloaded an older version, but the particles are still ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up.

The console reports "C_OP_RenderSprites::RenderUnsorted: Attempting to use an unimplemented sprite renderer for system "muzzleflash_akm_1p_flame"!"
On different guns, and I'm using the older builds.
