Why so
I got the skin because its looks cool and I like cobra, but Why does the attachment not colored? a bit of a bummer, but an answer would be appreciated
Due to the fact that this was my second skin created in Unturned I had yet to figure out how to get the weapon attachments textured, so only the Cobra itself and the adjacent iron sights were textured.
I hope this could help ;)
Thanks for the reply, I heard you quit unturned sometime ago, so expecting you to "Update" the skin might not be the best idea. Although I see the skin details of Layered and Fallback Attachment, so I'd assume the skin comes with attachment skins
I like the skins you made, but can you tell me which skins that doesn't have this issue? Thanks
I went ahead and checked my accepted weapon skins and from the following submissions you can expect additional custom textures for the most important attachments:
Stockpile
Eaglefire - Cryptic
PDW - Cryptic
Eaglefire - Amped
Steam Market
Heartbreaker - Luna
each of those come with custom:
Layered Attachments
Fallback Attachments
Iron Sights Skin
Military Magazine Skin
Military Drum Skin
Also for these skins, attachments which don't have a specific custom re-texture will use a universal generic texture fitting into the theme of the weapon skin design.
For example: The Cryptic PDW doesn't have a custom texture for the 16x Scope so it will use a black camo pattern which is the basic layer in the Cryptic design scheme.
This applies to most of my skins but I think that I didn't implement it into my earliest skins.
Thanks for the feedback though, I had yet to notice the missing attachments for the Cobra, mainly because I rarely used it ^^
Uploading this universal texture would be a quick fix but sadly I lost the original Cryptic Design folders on my old pc...
