Bug Reporting Thread
If there a bug with this mod, or with other mods, then post here. I'll take a look at it and attempt to fix it. Rules apply here.

Okay, first of all, I absolutely LOVE this M16 mod. I've currently got a bit of a US Marine theme going on with my squad and it fits in perfectly.

Except for the fact that I can't seem to apply any colours or camos to it. Is this a bug and if not, is there a way to fix it? I subscribed and installed the mod as normal and only tweaked the ini for in-game damage stats. I left everything else as is.

That's weird, you should be able to customize/color the weapon. Something might of happened when I was updating the mod. Let me check it out.

Thanks! In the meantime, I'll try unsubbing, uninstalling and resubbing/reinstalling the mod, see if it helps.

Okay, also, check if the mod is completely uninstalled by going to <steamapps>/workshop/content/268500/ and deleting 661545567.

I'm sure that steam deletes this folder, but check just to be sure that steam did not leave anything behind.

Okay, so I tried it and also made absolutely sure the folder was deleted before resubbing and reinstalling. Got the same result... :sad_creep:

Alright, I might have an idea. Which mods on list touch the weapon customization?
If I leave out all of the other cosmetic/gameplay mods, I'm left with these:

Okay, try disabling MilitaryCamoflagePatterns, DiversePatterns, and MoreArmorColors, and see if the problem still persists.

I disabled all three of those mods and restarted the game. Unfortunately, the problem still persists...

Okay, so it isn't those. Try disabling all weapon mods on the list except mine.

Before you start the game, be sure to backup your username/Documents/My Games/XCOM 2, so you don't lose anything.

Okay, for some reason disabling and re-enabling all of Yard's guns did the trick, though I still don't see how or why they could conflict with your M16 mod.

In any case, it worked. Thanks for the help! :steamhappy:

I noticed that for some reason the M16 and M14 are not recieving the range bonuses/penalties to aim as regular assault rifles. Whenever I look at the shot breakdown for aim the range bonus/penalty is never present.

I thought I've fixed that in the last update for the M16, but the M14 as well?

I've checked the config files for both mods. They match up to the name of the range variable in the UCs, so I don't understand this. Give me a day to figure this out.
