256.4 crashing client
My client keeps crashing with the report lowlevel fatalerror, and somthing about renaming an object in shigoisland mod folder. I took a screenshot of the error as it will not let me copy the text. http://imgur.com/a/sgWau This is the screen cap of the error.

there is now a testserver with only a working shigo in it.

Easy way to test:
Join the Test Server and go to the place your crash happen.
  • No crash - Problem is on your server.
  • Still crashes - Get second opinion (here is my: i dont have a crash there)
Other Player have this problem on the Test Server too ?
  • Yes - Please inform me about
  • No - Clientside Problem
For Serverproblems - Try install via FTP
For Clientside problems - Try Redownload the Mod and Validate your Ark

Almost exact Fatal Error here as of last Ark Update (late yesterday evening) I will copy /paste but the error is about naming The Industrial Forge Child Actor= Not Allowed. After 2 secs of my game being loaded..c r a s h.

Validated all files- missing 2- replaced, not fixed.
Deleted ALL map files from PC
Unsubscribed from map here on steam
Restarted PC
Re-Subscribed to Map....

Opening ARK now. Will be back with report.

Super bummed, no go. Love this map, looks like a mod update went out yesterday as well. Could have gotten corrupt somehow.

Attempt to join the 'test server' failed.
Hung for 3 minutes or so at character screen, then crash/closed.
The error on my end was video driver crash, check if they are up to date...but they most def are.

Running:
NVIDIA GeForce 1050 ti

Apologies for posting again but i just re-read the post from Nopetard & my base is also in that location, sounds like almost exact spot. Hope that can be of some help.

Yes, I did join the test server. (after several pc crashes on character screen) I located where about my base is and sent you the coordinates. They were Lat 68 Long 40 (this is only using a map, i could not get spectator enabled) Its below the Mushrooms on the beach in a cove like area. I spent all night and day trying with no luck. I play on my local server, I think u live too far to join. Sounds like the member above has the exact issue and we both have our bases (i believe) in tthe same location.

Ok ark just put out patch 256.41 and I thinks the bug is gone. I have been trying yo get the crash to happen again but so far is working. I will keep you updated.

no sooner then posting this and the crash happened again. It is when I am standing on the beach facing the lava cave. it says something about fireemmiter.

I am attempting to redo the shigo install again, I cant connect to the test server as I get the blasted display driver crash error. You would thing with a gtx 960 ftw the game would run so much better. But on my end it is all around the cove close to to the shroom redwoods and the lava cave.
