Love all of your scripts. Thank you for making SE so much more interesting!
In any event, thank you for your amazing work. Have an amazing day!
I have brought this up (with others) before, and, if I understand it correctly, the reason you can't find any that do it is because SE's LCD's don't support camera's. Cameras only show an image if a player uses them. A script can take information using a camera, but there is no image. I may be wrong, and if so, hopefully it get's made. but, alas, since it is very useful, I can almost guarentee that keen will make it impossible
it allows you to (easily) make elevators. How it works is you have the group of pistons, put it at floor "One", and run the argument "Set Flor "x"" where "X" is the floor. Then repeat with each floor, using the same argument but replacing "x" with the next number. Do it as many times as you want. Now, when you run the program with the argument "Floor 1" it goes to the posistion the pistosn where in when it was at floor 1!
When moving, it closes a door, then when it stops, it opens that door and the door at that floor (Labeled "Door Floor "x") (The elevator door is "Elevator Door", and it is optional. they both are)
Not sure if it could handle more than one elevator though... but probally not. Either way, in return it does all the set up! Maybe even able to turn on that sound block thing (optionally) (for elevator music for those cruel ones)
Just an idea!
Oh yeah, and, you know rotor elevators? (The ones that move a platform in a semicurcle) Maybe it could work on those. Maybe it can also controll airlocks, so an elevator can open the top door of a hanger airlock, but only if the bottom one is closed, else it stops untill the airlock cycles!
Thanks.
this function would not only be very useful for completely enclosed cockpits, but also for even bonal tracking and installation of ordinary cameras on bases or ships
